WebDec 1, 2004 · If I had a head here I'd test it just for giggles. AFR's are noted for the mid lift flow as the port is very efficient & Tony designed the head with a big bore in mind. This is why they drop off so much in the .3-.6 area. The Canfields are going to drop but probably not quite as much but I would expect them to follow the same trends. WebMay 11, 2010 · With the 2.25 valve, the restriction ends up being in the valve area wich is really counter productive to making good power. The Can 310, with a 2.300 intake is sized ideally for a 7000rpm 540 na. I may be doing a set here soon that we can really see wht we can get out of them. My guess is they will go in the high 380's.

The fact that Jegs head is made by Canfield, doesn't necessarily designate it as a 'Canfield' cylinder head.
